Surrey Now-Leader article featuring 93-year-old playwright Don Smith

This morning, Surrey Now-Leader writer Tom Zillich published an article featuring Don Smith, a 93-year-old playwright and artist based in Surrey. Don, who is originally from California, talks about moving to Canada, keeping busy during retirement, and how one can do fulfilling things no matter what their age. “I think back to when I was 20 or 30, I’d think of somebody 90 years old as so terribly out of it, you know," he says. "I’m sort of amazed that I’m here now at this age and I’m having my plays produced. It’s a message that, you know, when you’re very old you can still do things that are fulfilling.”
