Synopsis:

Three actors, Daniel, Jess, and Adam, come together to attempt to perform all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays in a single show. Armed with an array of costumes, props, and plenty of improvisational comedy, they tackle the Bard’s entire repertoire, despite their shaky memories of lines and plots. To recreate classic tragedies like Hamlet to lesser-known works such as Troilus and Cressida, the trio must get creative and enlist help from the audience to cover everything in one night.

Character Breakdowns:

Daniel (Gender and Age Open): An actor that loves to break the fourth wall and crack jokes with the audience. Driven, focused, and professional.

Jess (Gender and Age Open): An obsessive Shakespeare nerd, silly and fun, always trying to look more impressive than they are.

Adam (Gender and Age Open): A scared underdog, overly invested, loses composure easily.

Notes:

• While the characters are labeled Daniel, Jess, and Adam for clarity, the characters’ names, genders, and pronouns will be changed to reflect the actor that is cast.
• Auditions are open to everyone regardless of background, race, gender, orientation, or ability. We encourage everyone to audition as we will be casting whoever is best for the role.
• All characters require fast-paced and improvisational physical comedy.
• Auditions will be cold readings from the script, and callbacks will involve improv with other actors. Actors are encouraged to read the script on their own prior to auditioning.
• Please bring a résumé and headshot to auditions.
• This is a NON-EQUITY, volunteer production.
