Beck Marie
Facilitator
Beck Marie (she/they) is a proud non-binary and disabled actor, aspiring writer and director, and all-around theatre enthusiast. Although they were mostly trained in filmmaking, they found a love for community theatre a few years ago when they starred as Lizzie in their hometown’s production of Pride and Prejudice. Other favourite roles include playing Tilly in She Kills Monsters, and Josie in Pivot’s debut production of My Blue Heaven. She has won awards for multiple short films in college, and recently appeared on the Amazon TV series The Boys. Beck believes that more space is needed in theatre for marginalized groups, especially for creators who are Black, Indigenous, People of Colour, disabled, and trans. She is committed to accessibility in theatre and is excited to work with Pivot to uplift and amplify these voices in community theatre.
