Kassandra Sison
Facilitator
Kassandra is a woman of mixed heritage, with European settler ancestry on her father’s side and Red River Metis heritage on her mother’s side. Her love of theatre and storytelling began at a young age, but she only recently returned to theatre as a student and performer in 2023. Her favourite roles include the soft-hearted Texan Louanne in Doin’ Time at the Alamo, a strung-out mother Annette in God of Carnage, and a daughter coming to terms with her mother’s descent into Alzheimer’s in Pivot Theatre’s production of Moonglow, which won her awards for Best Performance in a Female Supporting Role at Theatre BC’s North Shore Zone and Mainstage Festivals.
Kassandra is thrilled to join the team of facilitators at Pivot, as she has experienced first-hand how Pivot honours its mission to be a safer place for everyone to create, volunteer, and find a community with performing arts. She looks forward to supporting the development of future seasons, and is grateful to Pivot for providing a safe environment to explore humanity.
